Its a nice lake with plenty of coves to dock and... swim. The pontoon we rented was nice but could have been a little cleaner. Overall though, good time. Would definately go back.read more

I am not one to complain often, but I was so... disappointed in the food at Long Shoal Marina Restaurant. My husband and I ordered their special Saturday night which included a sirloin steak and shrimp. The steak, which was ordered medium, was cooked well done and tasted like a piece of fish - uneatable. Appetizer wings were ordered with mild buffalo sauce and tasted sweet...no buffalo flavor at all. We each ordered a drink but no alcohol taste to them. We spent $70 for food that we could barely put down and we still left hungry. Our waitress was very friendly, we just wish the food could've been A LOT better. Location was great right on the water if you sit outside. 5/5 service. 2/5 food. 3/5 drinks.read more

I kept my boat at Long Shoal for the last 10... years and never had any issues until they sold to a company out of Texas. Now it is a very dirty place owned by a company in Texas that doesn't care. They thought it was my responsibility to take care of the Otter problem. If you keep a boat there, read the contract, it is 100% percent in their favor, the lessee has no rights.read more

We had a great experience at lunch today. The... cheeseburger was outstanding! Tasted like it came off the grill in our backyard. The pulled pork sandwich was equally as good. Everyone was very friendly, courteous and were on their game. Our server did an excellent job! Overall experience far exceeded expectations! Highly recommend to others.read more

We have been to Long Shoal Marina many times. ... Docks are always clean; the dock crew has always provided speedy and courteous services. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. The restaurant has excellent, well-priced food. (Try the Bad Boy burger) All the staff members have been friendly and attentive. Looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend.read more

Got a daily use slip while fishing the lake with... some friends this is a very nice marina pretty sheltered from the weather cameras on the docks and the staff was very nice and helpful. There’s a restaurant inside the main building restrooms on the outside the place was clean and food very good. The only low was they give you a windshield sticker with information for your boat slip warning this thing comes apart in pieces do not stick it to your window if you want it to come off!! I even asked about that and was told it should be fine well it’s not!read more

We rented a pontoon from long shoal marina and... had an amazing time. Our boat had some mechanical issues and they traded us out for a better boat and extended our time. Trevor our boat manager was amazing and so helpful.read more

We've visited this marina on two weekends already... this year. Service on the patio has been friendly and swift. The dock hands and minnow wranglers have done well also. Managers have really been working hard as well. The one "store patron" boat slip we used could use some attention (better rope and tighten cleat), otherwise would be 5 stars. We'll be back there again this weekend!read more

Been going here since I was a kid. Has new... management. Great food at the marina and you can get bait and fuel here. Nightly boat slip rental or all season long. If looking for a slip rental for the season call early because they fill fast. Truman state park swim beach right across the lake and a campground right next door to the marina and docks.read more

Original post: Every time we have been to Long... Shoal Marina everyone has been extremely friendly and helpful. We have eaten at the restaurant multiple times and the food has always been good. The restaurant even has a liquor bar. Outside restaurant seating is also available if you so choose. You can get gas there, but it closes at 3:00, so plan ahead. They provide a nice covered fish cleaning station. Public restrooms are available and easily accessible outside the store/restaurant area. A closer parking lot is provided for those 65 and older. It's designated handicap parking also but that particular lot is not wheelchair accessible. Kids will enjoy feeding the carp that hang out around the dock's ramp.read more

We rented a boat from their marina to hang out... with our group of friends that had their own boat. First of all.... rules rules rules. Don't go past the bridge, don't tie up to another boat, don't go within 150 ft of the shore, blah blah blah (for the record, we are experienced boaters and are 50 yes old). We follow our friends out to the cove and the rental only goes 20 MPH..... WTH - then, there was NO ANCHOR!!!! $875 for a ridiculous day at the lake - never again. How embarrassing and not a good day.read more

Can launch your boat with ease. Plenty wide ramp.... Nice parking lot set up pretty well. Have seen people who had various issues and there was no problem finding someone who could help. Marina offers typical services you would expect. It is set up primarily for sportsmen. I have had no issues in dealing with anyone there and have always found them ready for assistance.read more
